this quirk in me has been put to good use by my boss..
anything that requires a presentation, she just throws it at me.. so i just go read through the thing a few times, and if possible, rehearse it..
if i remember the whole thing, i don't even need the notes or script and just talk to the people..
sometimes i think this quirk of mine has been abused -

Just got back from the clinic.
Just as I suspected... it's a rather bad muscle strain, but nothing serious...
Unfortunately, the strain rather inconveniently had to occur near the kidney region. As such, the doctor insisted on blood and urine tests.
The results were negative... but it's $20 down the drain.
I know it's reasonable for a visit to the doctor, but it's considerable money for a cash-strapped undergrad like me. Sigh.... -

last time when i was in JC, had to fork out money to see doc out of my own pocket money, cos missing sch = need MC.
those were e stressful days.
after i went to Uni, seldom see doc le..cos not necessary unless got test etc.
but then again, i seldom got so sick....
Uni days are indeed less stressful in another sense.
take care dude, dun drink too much cold drinks, esp when its ur back, one of e major muscle grps.
e chinese believes that when u have such injuries, e.g sprains or strains, avoid cold drinks, as it will cause rheumatism next time. -

I've already had to see the doctor three times this semester. Once for gastroenteritis (I almost got hospitalised as a result), once for flu, and now for backache.
It's all the more important for me to conserve money this month, for my tuition assignments have been temporarily suspended until the beginning of next month. I earn nothing if I don't teach anything. I'm living on my savings right now.
Oh well... on the bright side of things, it's just over two weeks to my final paper on 4th Dec. Right now I just want to focus on the first paper this Thursday and get it out of the way.
