  just got attached. i'm so happy for her.... but i am itching to know who he is and what he's like... however, i'm pretty sure my friend's too good for any guy.
  
  how would you feel if you know your best friend recently got attached/engaged?

  If he's attached, I'll be happy for him and pray that the relationship will be smooth-going. If he's engaged, I'll be thrilled and I better get to be best man!

  feel happy for him/her and wonder when will be my turn.
  
  but right now, i keep getting news of frens/colleagues getting married leh.. should i be happy or not? big hole in wallet.

  You shouldn't think that way. There will come a time when people will have a family of their own. Some day you are going to have one too. You can then imagine how those who are still single feel when that day arrives.
  
  SO... instead of moping around, why not spend the remaining time more with them before they marry? And besides, its not like they marry and then disown you. THey will still meet up but less often. Somemore what time difference are there when they are attached now and when they get married?

  just for the sake of settling down,
  it's a timely reminder nature's clock's ticking.
  don't pander too much to idealism.
  first grab the guy next to you,
  then worry about upgrading later
