scared that some guys mite be violent, and some guy students prefer female tutorsOriginally posted by fudgester:I can understand that parents would prefer female tutors for their daughters...
... but I don't believe that 90% of all students are female, no?
Even my aunt wanted a female tutor at first to teach my two younger cousins Maths and Physics. I needed to do quite a bit of cajoling and persuasion to convince her that I'm in a good position to teach them and that I'm not overly strict or violent or anything.
Oh well... at least my aunt is very satisfied with the results and want me to continue teaching my cousins.

Well, I know that I've zapped LL's rear end with a 66kV live wire, dangled udon over a bonfire, added rat poison to the pup's drink, unleashed wild dogs at hisoka, Force-choked ah lau and poked Bear's spare tyre with a lightsaber.... but I AM NOT VIOLENT!!!!
Oh.... wait.![]()

btw, how much u earn per month from just giving tuition alone?![]()
hmm so nice...Originally posted by fudgester:By giving tuition to my two younger cousins..... S$350 for four lessons.
To be frank, I only asked for $240.... but my aunt felt that was kinda low (in fact, $240 is already pretty high) and offered me $350.
My aunt is very generous.... in October, she paid me the full amount even though I only taught her kids twice that month as their exams were in the middle of the month. When I told her that I charge half-price for half the lessons, she told me to consider the rest as bonus as they had done very well in their examinations.
Of course, who was I to protest?![]()
