I am using a laptop cooling pad. It has served me pretty well for the past 1 1/2 years. It significantly made my laptop cooler to the touch when I type... without it, I can really feel the heat in my wrists. And it also makes my laptop more ergonomic for use.Originally posted by alfagal:say...those laptop cooling pad..e wind isnt tat strong isnt it?
Ok... that's one reason for not being a pilot.Originally posted by the Bear:they're testing the myth that pilots were decapitated when there was a spark in the oxygen-rich cockpit... the sudden ignition caused their heads to be ripped off as the explosion is focussed by their helmet
I don't suppose they perform human testing.Originally posted by the Bear:halfway up a mythbusting experiment, the test dummy fell off a liferaft they were attempting to use as a parachute and it shattered into a million pieces...
they taped up the dummy and is going to do it again

Nowadays, though, the cooling pad seems to be making a huge racket. THe noise can be pretty distracting.
I may consider buying a new cooling pad.

Cost me $45 at Best Denki.
A few days later, I found out that they were selling cheaper brands for half the price at Sim Lim.
Not sure about their effectiveness, though. And the cheaper brands don't offer additional ergonomics. I suggest asking others who have bought cheaper brands.
