So my laptop's just over two years old. And it has given me huge problems - both hardware and software.
That's why I say to not buy Toshiba laptops. I would recommend Lenovo instead.
All my friends who use IBM-Lenovo sing the praises of their laptops. Even though their laptops are ugly, they are highly dependable workhorses.
