Well, it wouldn't be the first time for me. I've been forced to go on all-out revisions while concurrently doing projects before.Originally posted by starblue:according to my numerous past experiences and professional perception, all-out revisions never get executed concurrently with other projects and assignments. Murphy Law #7382 also states that one will never put all of one's eggs in one basket when there are other baskets around.
o.O. you have my respect. actually, almost anyone will have my respect lah. cos comparatively, i study way too late for my exams. for my A levels (aside from maths), i studied like 3 days before the exam date.Originally posted by fudgester:Well, it wouldn't be the first time for me. The thing is, I consider the doing of projects as part of my revision. I make sure I really learn things properly in the midst of doing all the projects and assignments in the four weeks between now and the start of the examinations.
Some say that I'm being kan cheong by starting early, but that's the way I do things. I like to go at a slow and meticulous pace when it comes to all-out revision.
I can still remember how I revised for the A Levels: I started six full weeks before the prelims, and went at it all the way until the end of the A Levels. I only took a long weekend off studying after the Prelims to rest my brain a little.
Well, on my part it's because I don't have much of a choice. I'm slow at learning things. No kidding. The only way I can compensate for this is to be as consistent as possible in my studies.Originally posted by starblue:o.O. you have my respect. actually, almost anyone will have my respect lah. cos comparatively, i study way too late for my exams. for my A levels (aside from maths), i studied like 3 days before the exam date.

anything to do with plants and their genetic makeup?Originally posted by fudgester:Simi si 'phylogeny' ah? Can eat or not?
Sorry... there's a reason why I'm doing mechanical engineering and not the life sciences.
good try. but phylogeny here can refer to both plants and animals. basically, it's the construction of the tree of life. where the branching of the tree indicates where speciation and divergence took place. for instance, chimps and humans are more closely related to each other than either is to gorilla. so the terminal branches links chimp with humans, and a lower rank branch link both chimps and humans to gorilla.Originally posted by LazerLordz:anything to do with plants and their genetic makeup?
let's hope I can use some language skills to decipher this.
