crushes no need good taste one. crushes to me are meant to be put on a pedestal and worshipped. not meant for further understanding and knowing as a person.Originally posted by hisoka:hmmz so you have bad taste/judgement for crushes?

sounds desperate to me leh.Originally posted by starblue:anyway, i got some questions for all...
recently in friendster i received a message from a complete stranger guy (from 2 months ago. i check my account like once every 4 months, keke). from his profile, everything i know about him is his name, age and education institutes he was in.
i gave my email to him (since i will not go friendster in another couple of months), and the first mail i got, he gave me his email and number and asked to meet for coffee, better to know each other with.
blink blink.
i rejected it, of cos. politely.
then he informed me that friendster is a safe platform to meet guys. and gave me his number again, asking for a phone chat since that will be easier to let us know each other better.
blink blink.here are some questions.
1) am i being too conservative, or is he moving a little too fast?
2) is meeting people you don't know AT ALL the norm in friendster now?
3) is calling up a total stranger for some phone chat something that is prevalent in society now?
4) did he really expect the gal to agree to those?
5) do guys in general expect gals to agree to meeting and calling following the scenario i painted above?
erm.. how bout answering the other questions? need imput. cos i think i might be abit out-of-fashion with the trends now.Originally posted by ChoCoChips:sounds desperate to me leh.
and ya i think he rly move too fast ba.

o.OOriginally posted by NekoRin:1) Too fast imho.
2) Yea It's the norm, but I do believe that that will only happen when both parties are comfortable enough to meet up with each other. Try doing back the usual style, email->msn->phone->meetup
3) Yea
4) From what I read, yes he is expecting that.
5) Perhaps I'm not part of the 'guys in general' group lolx as I can't foresee my self doing that. No common topic to chat will result in awkward silences when meet up/phonecall :3
wah im also a suaku in this kind of thing leh.Originally posted by starblue:erm.. how bout answering the other questions? need imput. cos i think i might be abit out-of-fashion with the trends now.![]()

Looks like starblue wanna grill nekorin, but must grill together with rainee then nice...Better order another drum of kerosene then. Maybe I will bring along mashmallows, chocolate fondue and a good port.
btw, rin, did rainee order a port for your special occasion?
no. i do not intend to meet him. come on, i havent even met the guys in SBH after having spent some 2 years with them online....Originally posted by Herzog_Zwei:Mi thinks it's too fast for a meeting, bring a chaperone if you wanna meet.

Nah, it's perfectly normal. There's no use to meeting when one party is feeling uncomfortable about it right? :3Originally posted by starblue:no. i do not intend to meet him. come on, i havent even met the guys in SBH after having spent some 2 years with them online....
haiz... sometimes i wonder if i am too conservative for my own good. this kinda...... fast-moving rs is just so........ uncomfortable.

brother.. port is fortified wine... Really sweet n red can be port wine. But its at least 19 to 21 % in alchohol level. Because some are fortified or fermented with brandy.Originally posted by Herzog_Zwei:Badz, she wants something really sweet and red. Port is actually the grape juice and the wine mixed together.
