  if my best friend and i like the same guy, and we both know it, then we will both forget about the guy and find another one. we will never lose each others' friendship because of a guy.

  we have discussed this already lah... and we have the same sentiments loh. i mean, even if she tell me she will give the guy to me and withdraw, i also wun want. as long as we both like the same guy, and one of us gets him, the friendship will be strained. the friendship is too precious to us for that to be condoned.

  .....talk to your best friend man to man. Re-assure him that whoever got the girl, your friendship won't be affected. If his response is positive, then go and fight for the girl fair and square.

  she is far more precious to me than any guy. i know i will let her have the guy if she also like the same guy i like. but i also know (and hope) that she treasures me as much as i do to ensure that the incident will not affect our friendship in anyway.
