Reflection.....last six months.....

  ..... yesss, half a year had gone by with a blink on an eye. What have you achieved? What are the things you want but didn't get it? your high and low? your mistakes made?
  
  Get introspective, make yourself a nice cup of coffee, play some soothing music on the background, loosen your mind and share your life reflection for the last six months........
  
  Monetary and material wise I didn't gain much, that was done out of choice. Emotionally I had achieved much, exocised lots of demons within myself. Happiness comes from the inside not outside. Loyalty is a virtue but don't ever be blinded by it. Blind faith can do you more harm than good. The highlight must be the friendships I had bulit which were getting stronger and reciprocating at the same time there are some friendships i need to let go.....

  the good:
  
  got an excellent grade for two modules and a good CAP
  got to know....... an old crush a bit more
  had a glimpse of a few paths my future may open to
  
  the bad:
  had a Great Depression
  failed to be motivated to go lab
  felt like an utter incompetent at the research stuff
  
  goals to accomplish next:
  go to the lab tomolo morning
  contact a friend i havent contacted in a while
  get my bro a nice birthday present
  meet some SBH peeps
  
  just to name a few first.

  .....hmm, looking further back, the last six months was rather overshadowed more by relationships than other matters. Relationship with myself, my friends, my family and dating partners.
  
  Glad to re-connect with an ex work colleague who i have not seen for 4 years. I bumped into him on a rainning day at late night. Surprisingly he could recognised me in such a bad weather. He changed alot...
  
  (Another friend) This guy had been a thorn in my fresh for the last few months, need to erase him from my memory. People always said to have the roses you need to accept the thorns. But I prefer to get a new plant of roses
  
  Too many friends can be a drain, I am not God, I can't please everyone.
  
  Relationship with my family is getting right on track
  
  Romantic relationship is going off track, maybe too much of dating really confused me. The dating scene is like a big jungle out there, your heart will get scar if not be careful. Good things were I learnt alot from it. Well, a sabbath of dating now for me.
  
  *had finished my cup of coffee* will make another cup of Cuppucino, then reflects some more

  i think i have had enough depression periods to get used to the feeling le lah. so usually, they dun affect my everyday life anymore... during these depressions, every morning when i wake up, the stuff that bothers me will just be like a persistent background humming lah... i get on with my day as usual loh...
  
  no more suicidal thoughts after that first and last one i had some years back. i am a firm believer in life.
