  Come on.. when u die u prefer lie face up or down.Face up la! Simple. So it makes sense that the cockroach wants to lie on its back , fold its legs look up to the creator and be prepared to be delivered.
  
  so ya. Thats why cockroaches flip when they die. They dont 'FLIP' they just.. lie on their backs.
