Its the same reason why i would choose a, say lambo over a nissan for instance, the elegance n beauty in which it is designed, the way the engine is built, the attention i would get if i drive e car, its like putting a price over all these unquantifiable qualities hence the premium to pay which i wld gladly pay for it if i could. -
it's a matter of perception.. for normal people donating $10 may be worth a lot.. for others, they donate by thousands.. different standards.. just because they spend a lot doesn't mean they don't donate as much..
yes what they spend on could be put into better use but they may feel that earned the right to spend that kind of money.. who's to say you won't do that when put in that position.. it's very easy to adapt to being rich.. -
