today was one of my worst days ever...the clerk made a mistake and sent me to the wrong classroom for relief...then sent me to one of the upper primary classes which has some really problematic kids. One of the students was pushing his classmates and I reprimanded him and he dared to shout at me
So I told him that he is so rude and would like him to behave better. And in return he scolded me with bad words
I am definitely going to send in his name to the discipline master on Monday

i must admit, if i were in your position and he shouted some vulgarity at me, i would be tempted to say "is that the best you can do?" or "try harder."
i would make a really bad teacher -

I did try to make him sit at a corner but he refused to budge. When I moved his bag to make him go to the corner, he started the shouting and screaming...
Cos they dun have a stable class to give to me until middle of march when one of the teachers go on leave, that's why now I have to become the relief teacher for some classes... -

the convo went like:

maybe something is inherently wrong with how our kids are being brought up.
ask the other classmates which teacher is that boy's dad when the boy is not in the vicinity (ask the "good" students).
the next time he misbehaves in the class, stare him down, make him know that you are no-nonsense and give him some form of punishment. if he refuses to comply, stride confidently out of the class and get the discipline master of the school into the classroom.
this kinda thing must collaborate with DM one... then next time others will not mess with you. -

And that is why they need to increase teachers' pay. Something must be seriously happening for them to do this. -

Nowadays... it's not easy to teach... make worse with demanding parents and scared stiff educators.
