It is different from merely loving a person and you want to marry him or her. You can say you love her/his look and want to marry this person, but this kind of marrige most probably wouldn't last.
If it is not marry for love, then what else? It is the real love that will help the relationship to ride out a storm... -
there are many stories to marriages; some marry for stability, some marry for sense of familiarity, but i think there are quite alot of loveless marriages out there.

the reasons for marriage are vastly variable. personally, i think that love alone, is not sufficient for two people to spend the rest of their lives together.
cos let's face it, this is a practical reality. there are things that you cannot live without. -

i hope my one will marry me just for the fact that she love me so much and nothing else..
Nowadays so hard to say. Damn they are good.
But for those that is because of that reason i say they are very very lucky to have each other. -

well, it's really depends ... case to case .... if u don luv the person thn wat's the reason u marry to him/her ???

not just always luv but also strategiic reasons also....if no plan go in jus cause of luv then prob may crop up later....my advice : luv 1st...then $$ 2nd...then kidz 3rd....then retirement plan 4th...then finally which plot of choa chu kang cemetary last...the S'pore story

You will need other stuff like compatibility, common values and ideologies, compromises, tolerance and sacrifice
Many people (esp girls) goes with the "feel good" lovey dovey feelings and neglected these other aspects and end up married the wrong person leading to sob stories.......... -
If you marry a person you do not fully love, then why do you get married?
Marriage is a commitment. If you do not love the other person, you will never stay comitted.
