Take BTS all the way up to Mo Chit Station. Then get out, you shud see it around dat area.
Go around morning is better i think otherwise it will get very crowded.
damn... it's very far away from chinatown huh? i was hoping to squeeze them side by side... but you say both should go in the morning....
say i wanna get from First Hotel to Siam paragon, is it cheaper/more convenient to take a tuk tuk outside the hotel right to Siam paragon, or take tuk tuk from hotel to BTS Ratchathewi and take BTS to Siam and walk/tuk tuk to Siam paragon?
which route would u take?
and how exactly does one get to chinatown? there aren't any BTS around it...

Chatuchak is quite a distance from Chinatown...you might want to take a cab there...There is a train station nearby Yaowarat Road, which is the main road in Chinatown, called Hua Lamphong Train Station. Can take that also, but have to walk a bit to reach Yaowarat Road. For me, I would be taking a cab to Yaowarat Road from my hotel..
One thing is...please don't take a tuk tuk. You might end up paying more and they might not bring you to the place you wanna go...
From what I have read, Siam Paragon should be nearby Siam Interchange. So can just take a BTS from Ratchathewi to Siam Interchange, then walk to Siam Paragon.
on sunday (this is your second day right?) we will most prob go chatuchak market in the morning, then meet you for lunch at Baan Khun Mae, then go chinatown after lunch. what time do u wanna meet at siam interchange?
can we have a late lunch. i feel like shopping more at chatuchak. maybe have lunch at 2-3pm?
so.... for longer distances it's safer to take cab. but if it's a short dist, say from first hotel to siam, can take tuk tuk right? why wud tuk tuks cost more?
Suan Lum night Bazaar is where ah? how can i get to it? are there cheap stuff?
and the Pat Pong night market is in the middle of that red light district or wad?? is it sleazy? safe?
Can I CUM too..?

Yea, Sunday is my second day.
We can meet at the Siam Interchange at around 1.30pm? Then go over to Baan Khun Mae?
I hope I can still use my phone to SMS when I am there...otherwise it will be damn hard to spot one another lolz

Eh...cos tuk tuk will just charge you more cos it is up to them to name the price. For cabs, must make sure the driver turns the meter on before you let them drive off. Otherwise you might be paying for double the price. If they refuse, just get out and get another cab.
Another thing about tuk tuk that I have read about is that some of them get commissions from certain places/restaurants, so if you ask them to bring you to a certain place, they might bring you to sumwhere where they can get commission from the shop owner. Happened before to one of my friends who got driven to a "fake" restaurant instead of the real one she wanted to go to...
As for Patpong, yea it is in a red light district area...most recommended if you want to have a taste of night life. I am avoiding it cos I have no interest to experience gay bars, etc lolz.
Suam Lum market, heard from my friends the price of things there are ridiculously high. You can get things cheaper at wholesale markets such as Platinum Mall.

Going to a lot of places leh...all the shopping malls and I think most prolly will be spending hours in each of them...
Plus want to go have dinner at around 7 plus so that can go back hotel to rest by around 9...
How's your trip?
I think I spent more than 500 on clothes, bags and cosmestics! The cosmestics are dirt cheap over there, and so are books!
