procrastinating means you do other things when you are supposed to be doing another...
for example, you surf sgforums when you are supposed to be doing your work...

wootz I just finished my research paper!
Actually I am more of a person who would like to finish up everything as soon as possible and then relax after they are all done.
But I admit when it comes to reading journals, halfway through my mind will switch off and I will wander to some other totally unrelated website, like what I did yesterday.

Have a few tabs open, make sure one tab is dedicated to a website linked to your work, the moment you spot him walking towards you, switch to that tab immediately

Perhaps having a shining/mirror object, like a CDROM so that you know who is behind your back.Also, always password lock your PC whenever you are away.

Yea~LoL! Tat is exactly wat i m doin - daily! Thank goodness my screen is facin the window to the street. Sometimes so bored tat i attempted to play game tat is full screen..but dangerous lar..so not doin that unless no one else is in office.

I think there is a program which can let you play full-screen game on a minimized screen...forgot what is the website though. When I remember, then i will post it here lolz.
Another trick is to appear busy...have lots of files and papers all around your table so that your boss thinks that you are doing work...basically, just create clutter.

Another distraction for me liao. Heh.
But sometimes theres so much work that no matter how much u do, still cant finish, then i will just, Argh sian, go and do other stuff then nvr come back to finsh it till dont knw when.

I have some friends who play dota on the sly during work.When theres danger arnd, they will afk from it.

I duno abt feng shui tho..but i hav the window screen blocked out the reflections, so im still pretty safe.
