A quick poll.
I'm also curious as to why you celebrate or choose not to... but if it's too personal, this need not to be answered.
If I have it my way, no.
I don't celebrate birthdays in the first place.
i was out in the field on some army exercise...
Provided there is a cash incentive.
i was serving the country that day. haha
Planning to host a party is pretty tedious. Firstly, u need to find a venue and a good caterer and do up some decorations. Then confirming the namelist is the difficult part. U could get some help from close friends or family. Despite the effort, u will still feel abit imperfect, but just go on with it. Eh, get your relatives to attend, that would allow you to cover the cost, i suppose.
If you feel too time consuming to celebrate with many groups of friends separately, then a party would be good. Anyway, it was my sort of first time hosting one ... so go for the experience.
Bear and Kenashi, did you regret that you didn't celebrate it?

Not near this stage yet... still at consideration stage whether to celebrate it.
Already made a decision, however, will still take into consideration others' views... if majority wants to have fun... yes, will plan for one. If no, I'm OK with it as well.

Same as my colleagues' answers!
Thank goodness they didn't plan this, although they intend to do it.

haha..go be an adult..
studying in library entire day for an important exam
spent it with my M-16S1, defending the country.
i think quite a few would be holding the M16.. at least at that time we were going through the 2 1/2 year NS...
as for regretting it? what is there to regret.. i don't do much celebrating of birthdays anyway and it was just a day to me
I guess most people celebrate because its an important milestone to adulthood?
spending it in night driving in the jungle... fug the saf
