"Repsol" bikes really that fast?!

does anyone happen to know how many cc or how powerful one of those "repsol" bikes are?
there was this guy who was trying to play punk with me along ecp and so i thought i could teach him not to mess around with my EK
As i floored the accelerator and before i could reach 140kmh, he accelerated madly and was beyond my reach..

Bike and Car cant really compare lah.
Bikes are so much lighter.. -
if yr tokg bout the bikes with the common repsol paintjob.. their oni 150cc.. 2stroke...
dnt be sad thou.. most if not all bikes let alone a simple vespa could pull away from u on a dead start.. -
hahaha when i was waiting at a bus stop in serangoon north.....saw this malay guy which i think he just bought his "repsol" bike coz there's this bike shop which sells those stuff around the corner.......
wat shocked me was not the speed of his bike---it was how he raised both his hands and show both of his middle fingers,shaking it violently in the air....and howling like a mad dog.....in the middle of the road....oh yah i forgot he doesn't have a third hand to control the steering bar...he did it "free handedly"

oh yah its a Honda NSR150... stop calling it the 'repsol' bike... its like describing a merc as tt white car or a ferrari as tt red car....

Aiyoh why u even bother? At 140, thats like 50-60 above limit, if theres a hidden cam somewhere u are looking at min 12 pts, its not worth it. If people want to play punk with u, let them do it. There is a saying: If u climb mountains all the time, sooner or later u will run into a tiger."

you really shouldn't compare a bike with a car.
sometimes in normal situations where you move faster than a bike when the light changes to green, doesn't mean the bike is slow.
the bike you were 'playing' with was just 150cc...
you have yet to meet the 600cc and above. I doubt you'll really get a chance to 'play' with them anyway. -

But I tell you, it takes a lot of courage and confidence to ride a bike above 140km/h.

hai.. most liky u meet a 150 cc repsol...
last time even a 125 cc.. pk up oso very fast...
but unstable...
repsol can hit abt 180 max... normal...
SO if u wanna play ... ur car maybe can play top speed or mid range oni.
(if u met a 600cc abv bike, u can forget it totally on playing. cos pk fast. and can top 250 easily)
cos i used to ride a R1...
no hao lian or wat... oni porsch ..and those super cars
turbo cars...... will play wif mi...
but no pt lor...
but so fast singapore no road to play....
hav hit anything abv 160 ... no more road liao
but the pick up... is realli fast lor...
everytime go malaysia wif frens.... malaysia small bike blow at us...
we normally let them till tail light almost gone...
then we overtake them... ard 240 avg...
max i went is ard 260-270... and i got fren who overtake mi at that speed... i find it like flying....
fun but deadly.... not no more lor.. driving .. relac relac
aircon... radio... esp this now rainy season.

ducati those... like 996R, 998R ,999R
those full carbon fibre body including fuel tank oso carbon...
super light weight ... and these bike are already tuned for racing capable
they can even 0-100 below 3 secs... tested .. in uk... out from box
errhhh .. in singapore.. hahah dun think they will ... maybe when go pasi gudang... not in singapore.... cos singapore road the friction is not exactly good for friction.

seriously u can't compare F1 cars against bikes. Those F1 cars aren't cars man, they're jet fighters with inverted wings and wheels....
anyhows, for bikes, those cars that aussie mag compared ared kinda not the fastest. We gotta take like, a Zonda, Enzo, McLaren F1 to really be able to put up a good fight against bikes like R1s n Hayas. Even then the bikes would probably win in terms of accel and such. Eventually though, the car's greater horsepower would show thru at the top end and they would overtake the bikes but that would certainly require a loooooong piece of road.
But its not an impossiblity. I've told this story b4 and I'll tell it again. CAR mag was interviewing Brabus, and they took a Brabus S600 out for a test. There were at least 3 ppl in e car, including the Brabus guy assigned to the test, the journalist and he photographer and his equipment. They blew past a couple of moddified R1s which the bike tuning workshop guys were taking out doing a top speed run, while the R1s were at full throttle. The bike tuning guys were totally stunned.
So while car faster than bikes are not an impossiblity, it certainly would require one hell of a monster, to beat bikes like R1s, and moddified and tuned R1s at that. -

51 above THEN revoke licence.
