high speed cornering???Originally posted by RevX:the purpose of using your right foot to control both accelerator and brake is so that u only do ONE thing at a time. speed up or slow down. i dun see any advantage in using your left foot to brake in an auto car.
Slow down by releasing the gas pedal, and gently apply the brakes when required, you need only 1 foot.Originally posted by TwinTurbo_Supra:high speed cornering???
unless you are really in a hurry...you save that milli-seconds for not moving your right foot from accelerator to brake and vice versa.Originally posted by RevX:the purpose of using your right foot to control both accelerator and brake is so that u only do ONE thing at a time. speed up or slow down. i dun see any advantage in using your left foot to brake in an auto car.
thatz very dangerous...esp when you happens to meet up with some hazards...you might forget and tot that the brake is the clutch...Originally posted by l0st-s0ul:aloha, i would like to hear the opinions of u guys on braking with left foot while driving an auto car.

wah? u mean ABS? well racing drivers sometimes like to say their ABS is their left foot.Originally posted by Rx8driver:is it possable to do a HUMAN Anit Lock Brake System ??????? i heard from a EK9 driver from Japan R Froum?
ABS pumps the brakes at least 10 times per second if I'm not wrong... you tink your foot can do the same??Originally posted by Rx8driver:is it possable to do a HUMAN Anit Lock Brake System ??????? i heard from a EK9 driver from Japan R Froum?
racing drivers dun pump the brakes. the way the human ABS works is much finer. pumping the brakes upsets the balance of the car during entry to corners. instead, the brakes are applied, and it is all based on feeling. the trick is to slightly release some pressure just before lockup. Thats what human ABS is about.Originally posted by LH83:ABS pumps the brakes at least 10 times per second if I'm not wrong... you tink your foot can do the same??![]()
