Will you buy a brand new Subaru WRX @ $100,000?

A brand new WRX with full-kit is now costing 100k.
For 220hp / 310nm of Torque 0-100km in 6seconds this car looks attractive.
Anyone cares to give any views about this car? Heard from my friends this car's Gear-box is quite problematic. And this car also suffers from Turbo-Lag easily. Dunno how true is it?
Am thinking of getting one soon as i'm considering scraping my current ride instead of spending a bomb to SC or TC it.

imho....very good a car and now that the price is so attractive...really very hard to resist.

despite being on the other side of this rivalry, gotta say such a performance car at such a price is a good deal. well not much for a humble lil boy to say who even has problem forking out 1k

hmmm. i would buy an japan ver WRX then a normal 5 speed WRX from aus.
Japan WRX is a 6 speed plus it has the power of the same with EVO 250 Hp 4.6 sec to 63 MPH (100 Km/h) -
The price will drop again after the WRX challenge. so wait a few more days. heheh....
Ya true that the car is flooding the road but u have to consider it very carefully.... the road tax and insurance are not at all cheap to talk about. On top of that, the fuel consumption is slightly on the high side being that it is a turbo sedan.
Compare to mitibishi rallieart turbo 1.8L, this subaru Impreza turbo is very much worth the value. -

how different is the actual engine of the normal wrx to the sti?
is it just a turbo and ecu upgrade or is it totally re worked engine? -

But my budget only around 100k leh. Dun like the idea of buying say a 2-3yr old EVO for 100k. This type of car rather buy New!
Anyone knows how much the Insurance is? Rd Tax should be same as my current ride is also 2litre. Correct me if i'm wrong. Dun tell me performance car got to pay for more Rd Tax?
Any advise on it's reliability though???

I think the car at 100K is totally affordable. But all I can say that in buying these cars, the issue is not in the price but the taxes, insurance and the other fees you have to pay. Imagine the one lump sum u have to pay for the insurance and taxes, thats why i think i rather stick to a normal 1.5 car hehehe....and one more thing, the FC is a killer.
