Thats a Mercedes Vaneo - Based on the A-class with an extended platform. Its like an upmarket Renault Kangoo. Interesting look vehicle, I never knew any exsisted in Singapore!
As for (relatively) rare car sightings, heres a few ive spotted in both Singapore and in Melbourne, Australia -
Ferrari 348TS at the workshop
Up close and personal with a BMW E46 M3
Rolls Royce Corniche
Toyota Celica GT4 ST185
Mitsubishi GTO (1999 + Generation)
Porsche 930 Turbo Flatnose
Toyota Supra Turbo
Ford Sierra RS Turbo (A bit dark)
Volkswagen Beetle RSI (1 of 250 made in the world, you might spot a Silver one with blue-painted side panels on Singapore roads

TT_Supra - Yes the GT4 version of the Celica ST185 is very rare in Singapore and quite a rare piece globally as a matter of fact. I have thus spotted two in Singapore, included the one pictured, and it features a four-wheel drive drivetrain, turbocharged 2 litre 225hp engine and is very quick! -
oh man! tt's a whole loads of cars u've got there!! awesome!! haha my fav. has to be nissan SKYLINE! ha.. sad thing.. there's a stupid looking ah beng pai kia who drove a black skyline near my estate.. dammit... ( hope tt guy dun see tis)

The GTO Mitsubishi is virtually identical to the 3000GT - The 3000GT is known as the GTO in Japan, the car's central market and everywhere outside (if imported offically, at least) as the 3000GT. Hence due to this fact it can be said that the car that I spotted is a late-Japanese Domestic Market model imported here privately. As for more pics of 3000GTs, ive got a few more as well as an engine picture i took, i will most likely post these up another time.
The Ford pictured there is a Cosworth - It is based on the Sierra sedan (never officially imported into Singapore) and sports a cosworth tuned turbocharged engine. It is known as the Ford Sierra RS Turbo Cosworth, or a 'Cossie' Apparently i ve heard from a friend that this is the sole Sierra in Singapore and sports more than 500hp! I recently spotted a older Ford Escort RS Cosworth in Singapore too, which was quite a site. -

Spotted a red Mitsubishi FTO driving out of NUH today... and Ali... I think the Supra I saw in Perth is the same silver Veilside one you have... hee... your shot is much better than mine....

OMG Those are mad lovely pics. Thanks so much Ali! Cheers mate. And don't you just looooove being in Melbourne? At least a few skylines everday, and most of the time you'll be hearing drivers roar their engines all around city...till the point you get used to it haha. Over here, when you hear such a roar, you'd most likely turn your head and see init?

Ali I'm a driver myself so I understand how owner/s feel upon seeing their number plate being posted on a public forum. Of cos there are ppl who don't mind.
Please, when you guys quote someone. Do take note not to quote the pic too. But if you are going to comment on a pic or two, just quote the pic intended. Thanks all for the efforts

As for the speedo - Yep, it is in MPH for the speedometer, with the digital reading set to KPH. The car was one of the first imported directly from Germany and thus is uses metric readings for the anologue part of the speedometer.
Melbourne is indeed a very nice place, with most folks I met there really into the car scene. As for prices there, if im not wrong you can import a Toyota Supra TT for just about 26-30 thousand now there.
