I'm thinking changing my tyres to Michelin Preceda or Pirelli Dragon for 205/55 R16. Which is better??

it is the most value-for-money
most sg ppl go for brand,u should go for spec.the k 104 has got aa grade for traction which u can find same in other branded tyre for at least 50% more on pricing.

dun let my nick mislead you. i dun own and never drove a 22B before. and i prefer the 8.5MR to the 22B anytime. just tot that the nick will be rather unique compared to anything to do with Evos. cheers.

hankook? no way. know of ppl who installed the high spec ones but the tyres still performed poorly. look. all that's in contact between u, yr car n the road r 4 small areas of rubber. they decide if u live or die. dun skimp on the tyres. they may save yor life.

I think you also no need to tell ppl which tyre to go for, cos all tyre the same mah, the performance of the car only depends on skill. so skillfull driver can save money liao, maybe Lanc can out perform a EVO

for eg: if $5/- can buy u a durian with the same standard in taste n so on, y u want to pay more for an eg: k24 or some more reputated one which is far more expensive right, in yr case.
in the case of cars maybe i will, cause it can show off our stardard,
but for tyre who cares right. even if u drive a lousy n put on michelin tyres

regard of standard in driving let me tell all of u,i m not saying that ppl cant blame tyres what i mean is think of yr skill 1st ,did u under or over steer.2nd is there a hole or bump during turn ,3rd is there oil or some sort n so on.

so you are accusing michelin and pirelli and other established tyre makers of being no better than Hankook tyres? that is slander might I remind you, esp since you do NOT know the exact processes and research that these makers have put into the manufacture of their tyres. Tyres's performances go beyond just compounds used and thread pattern alone.

n will cooperating in marketing n producing n procurement area -

yes i know they are in partnership with michelin since 02 or 03 i think. But no I do not think they are on par with michelin itself. yes I have heard of Auto-Bid as well. the fact is that, of numerous tyre tests I've read about, this is the only one which has mentioned that its as good as you say it is. actually its more expensive or on par compare to major jap brand there(us / europe)but sg ppl always have the mindset that korea product should be cheaper than jap's one,which is totaly wrong.
