6 accidents in 9 years:
- Old lady sitting between dividers released brakes and rolled right into my path. She claimed fault.
- Company station wagon spun out of control while taking off from a green light on a wet road. Assessment found that differential was faulty.
- Cab driver took an abrupt U-turn from the left lane right into my path. Court ordered him to pay damages.
- Some other idiot did the same thing two months later. She had no insurance, so I never followed up - besides, I hit her right between the front and rear doors and the chassis was totalled while mine had a broken bumper and headlight.
- Swerved to avoid a car coming from the opposite direction over the lane marking and hit a stationary car - my fault.
- Idiot changed lanes without indicating and ran me off the road straight into a lamp post - in hindsight I should have let her hit me so I could make a claim. In any case, the car cost me $1500 and needed a new engine, and I was one month away from leaving Australia, so I let it drop.
Spun my car once at 140 while dragging it out with a BMW 3-series, but didn't hit anything. No blood, no foul.
