HI there, am quite new to bidding of car no. plate. I know that the minimum bid is $1000 and up. Do people usually bid for car no.? How much is an average bid? NUmbers with 8 or series of 8 will naturally cost more. What about single numbers? e.g. SFN6K or something like that?
Am thinking of bidding but don't know how much to put in for the bid.

My friend bidded his no. plate "66" for more than $7K on his BMW at the second try.
The no. plate "1" can cost up to $100K.
As long you bid a number, the minimum is $1k. -

what about the usual double digits? like 57/42/96 or whatever other combination.

I got customer who get 8181 at $2001. but all this will depend on yr luck lor.
If got other people will also bid same number then have to see who is higher.
U can even try yr luck at bidding at 1k to try yr luck.

if you already have an existing plate you need to pay another few hundreds for replacement. that's how money sucking they are...

Wahahahha in your dreams.... 10 bucks? no way.
No matter what number u bid, it is 1K minimum. So u have to outbid one another with a higher bid. The highest bidder wins the number.
BTW, 1K is cheap. But u will hardly get a number at 1K when u bid.
