Anyone can advise me if cityspeed or ntuc offers better rates for their car rental? Is there any one who would be able to rent their car to me for SGD$50

cityspeed and ntuc for $50 bucks u have to wait long long. try private ones if u want a cheaper rate.

there are quite a number of private car rental at abt $50.
Try seaching yahoo auctions or classified ads for good deals.
ask around who provide better rate and services.

i noe of a car rental at bishan. private one. have alot of cars. but mostly $70 per day for the 1.6 litre ones. and old ones at that. $50 can only get you the lousy 1 litre cars.

Bishan one i rent b4..the rates are good but the cars are no good.
Rented one GTI b4...engine wan to die liao and then stupid alarm system will auto lock when all doors are clsed. The car died in the middle of the road...went down to check...forgot and close door....cuz middle lane of Balestier road...how to leave door open?
I was trapped out of the car....called the rental guy up and said no spare key.. Where got such thing as no spare key??? said need to pay for tow and for the opening..
End up i open it with the help of some bagala at some worksite...lucky i left a bit of the back window open.
Lesson is...better check the condition of cheap rental cars...haiz -
think the bishan one we toking abt the same person.. i also rented a civic esi for 4days at $250.. the car FC very big and then many unwanted noise think the suspension cannot liao.. engine wise the noise also very very loud..the right side front headlight below the inner bumper also drop out when i driving halfway... then was left hanging till i made a stop and knock the think back.. the alarm also extra one, when u off engine and nv look door.. later u touch the door again it rang... but when u lock the door and try to force open no alarm -.-.. the lock will also auto lock de so dun put keys inside.
but the time they very flexible la... manual cars dun rent there ba... their auto cars quite new..also dun rent the coralla manual de, heard the engine was damn loud also...
my frene rented the CRV erm overall can say is gd but the price is higher lo. -
yeah yeah the cheap rates ones very lok kok. either got scratches all over the shop and the headlights all taped up or the covers broken. but want cheap, wat to do? no such thing as cheap and good one de. the manual ones must rent the newer ones. but more ex la.
i notice they have new crv, grandis, lancer all those mah. pay more la. better den u take the old cars den got problems u jialat. must pay for the towing, or even repair etc. -

Location of cars are either in town or east side but can co-ordinate to check where you want to collect car.

It was an awful experience, very bad and expensive.
First time i got a nissan coupe @ $90 per day, not worth it at all !! the car, engine was like crap, more than 10 years, engine overhauled till damn loud till it could blast ur ears !!
the car was definitely more than 10 years. nevertheless, the car looks not bad on the exterior.
Lisa has many cars but most were very old and she always give out ridiculous prices, knowing u are in need of cars.
She quoted me $90 also for a '94 corolla, which u can get much cheaper elsewhere.
unless really in need, else i tink can skip her. -
