How much is it for a Light Goods Vehicle?

  Hi there,
  Anyone knows of the price to pay ($$$), road tax/insurance, paper work to own a light goods vehicle - Peugeot Partner, Renault Kangoo, Citroen Berlingo and the likes?

  oic, after the registration of company, i think i need a 3 mths' statement to reflect the status of the co. so as to justify the need for the vehicle or ability to finance the vehicle, right?
  
  does LTA limit it to particular trades and business? manicure/pedicure business allowed?
  
  what's the price of the light goods vehicle? i saw a catchy 1 buck downpayment while passing by citroen's showroom at leng kee.

  i drving one...
  
  vehicle is ard 35-38k
  road tax is $500 when i buy a yr ago.. now think is 500+
  insureance is ard 1-1.5k ...
  
  if u buying new. the 35-38k is inclusive 1 yr road tax and insureance.
  second hand depends on how old the veh....
  
  and u must hav a registered company to buy the eurovan.

  you can register for a company base kind only if you got more than 30 employees... if dun have that amt, den the tax is private car tax... normally the diesel tax is quite high, 200% of normal car tax... roughly it will cost around $85k all in... maintanience quite okie cos diesel are long life...

  veh i bought tat time is 33k brand new
  
  i dwnpay 19k
  on 7 yrs loan...
  per mth is $260 installments
  
  diesel is a tank $40 on 800km/per tank
  one mth 4-5 tanks.. since i stay bt batok and wrks at loyang
  $160-200 on diesel a mth
  
  total : $450 per mth avg
  
  jus renew my insureance 10% ncd : $840 1 yr (thats a lobang price... avg ard 1k)
  road tax : $500 out / 1yr

  actually wif good sound proofing...
  and a good buget ICE setup... drive no diff frm cars//
  
  the oni thing seperates the cars is the 60km/h sticker niah
  drives like a saloon car.. not much diff actually
  
  who no likes to drive car...
  but i need to save money esp i wrk so far...
  every here and there... and i dun drive slow lor
  avg like 75km/h on PIE
  .. so tats y drive van..
  
  i even did went up genting and kl then to malacca wif this van...
  tats when they still take under-table money....
  one full tank up and down still hav a bit left....
  my fren on wira... 3 tanks .. alamak
  
  1 tank desiel : $40 --- 800 km
  1 tank petrol : $70 --- 500-600km

  i've seen some of these euro vans with body kits lah, THULE racks lah, racy colours...
  
  75km/h, you travel on which lane? what if TP catch? they give and take 10km/h-15km/h?

  its very saving on fuel and ur pocket
  
  yesh body kit.. up to individual prefference
  
  mostly sec lane follow by third lane... depends..
  oni peak jam i on 1st lane only for a while...
  i ganna once 83km.h on sec lane... by tp.. they say lowest to issue is 80 km/h
  
  so below they will not catch/ unless u road hogging or too beng he no like u lor ... so u suay
  
  when u see one... slow down lar... move to left lor...
  anyway if 3rd lane.. u hit 80.. they oso not bother much...
