actually i bid for two different numbers during one of the weekly bidding exercise and to my surprise i got both bids successful!
but i have only one car to register so the other will be wasted. my friend told me there is a way, that is by buying a cheap car and change the number then sell this car to the person who want to buy the number... don't know how it actually work and the cost incure.......
anyone expert can advise??? -

hi just curious how much did you bid to secure 3838?
because i am interested to bid for similiar repeated digit, 2323...any idea how much should i start with?

it all depends on luck. Sometime you can bid $2k for a number and not successful, sometime you may bid $1.5k for a number and be successful.
My advise is to ask the sales people who is selling you the car, they will know better how much to bid for a certain number.
Of course if you have extra cash and really like that number, why not?

Just a view...
If you bid for a number for $100k, as compared to buying a car at $100k, ten years down the road the number probably is still around $100k while the car is just merely worth $20k....
I know the figures are a bit extreme but I think you probably get my idea.
