Questions for enrolment of class 3 driving course

  I would like to enrol for the class 3 driving course in the near future and I would like to know
  
  1) I know that we are required to pay enrolment fees when submitting our enrolment form to the driving centre, so we only pay the enrolment fees or the enrolment fees + theory lesson fees?
  
  2) Can I choose not to join the theory classes and studying in my own pace insteads?

  for cdc @ udi, when u pay for the registration fees, the theory fees are included. they wil recommend u to go for the theory lessons since u paid for it already. but i tink it's up to u wheter to go anot.
  
  the question is i not sure if they will allow u to book the theory test anot. they might wanna check ur attendence be4 allowling u to book the theory test.

  well, u might as well take your theory tests as private and after which u passed u juz take the practical at sch............im also like tat =P

  Then how should I register myself as a private candidate for theory?

  best is take as private. far cheaper. and no need to change car and get used to another car. downside is that the test dates are far longer if u fail.

  But... How to register as a private candidate for theory tests? Do we needs to go to driving centre to register?

  I knew that ssdcl provides private courses but did the other 2 driving centres provides such service as well?

  private lessons you have to call up the instructor by yourself.. the driving school will not help you find the private instructor...

  for theory, go to the driving centres to book. the tests are at queenstown or at the centres i think. anyway i passed both basic and advanced at queenstown at 1st try. after that get hold of a good private instructor. ask around for recommendations/ intros. unless u wanna pay a lot more, private is more worth the $$. unless u want to pass real fast, den can chiong lessons at the schools.
