What was your reaction? I tink just have to brake till they bang your bumper and excuse that you need to slow down and they tailgating hor.......
I got one exp last night liao, WRX tailgate us flashing at us demanding us to give way and we giv way and it passed lor.

If you are driving on the extreme right lane, then you shld be giving way to an overtaking car. Even though, the left lanes may be wide open.
To continue on the right lane and blocking the vehicle behind you is considered to be road-hogging, even though if you are at or above the speed limits.
To overtake on the left is illegal and is liable to be booked for dangerous driving.
The right lane shld only be used for overtaking and for turning right only. Sadly, most Singaporeans are totally ignorant of this simple and civic rule.
Imagine if you are rushing off to an emergency, such as sending someone to the hospital, and you have a car infront of u happily cruising along at 90 km/h on the CTE. I definitely would want to get past and wouldn't mind getting a speeding fine and I think an appeal may even be accepted by the TP, if I am sending someone who is in need of urgent medical assistance to the hospital.
In your case, that Rex may not be in any real sense of urgency at all. But you will never know and can never be sure. Think it is just being civic to give way, tatz all. At least, I would feel that if i was in his shoes, i wouldn't want to be blocked as well. Whether is it a 3-lane road or expressway, the rule still apply. if there is no vehicle blocking your way in front, then you should keep and stay left. At least leave a lane on the right for people to overtake you for whatsoever reason. last night i saw a picnic driving without lights switched on, and, i went to his back and did a few burst flashes, he picked up, and nex i (sunny) drove beside him and try to communicate to him via hand signals, he dun want to look over... give up... so much for being kpo. -
Even on a 2-lane road u should try to keep left unless u need to turn right or something... Yep do brake suddenly just because because you are stupid, in the end you most likely to get someone kill including yourself. By the way, there been too many idiots doing the suddenly braking and trying to blame the behind party, it is a old trick already, you may not be so lucky to get away with it !!! Maybe you end up paying for damages and injuries !!!! -
It's better than what I saw near PS yesterday night... Coming from Orchard, near the turn before the Istana, there was this lorry who signalled his intention to shift to the left lane... However, there was this Black BMW who was at his rear wheel in that lane... instead of slowing down and letting him pass... The bloody BM driver go and horn at the lorry... then speed up and didn't give him space to shift, the lorry had to wait till the BM was past him... the BM driver still dared to turn and look back at the lorry driver...
Poor lorry driver man... and it's not as if there was traffic behind the BM... the road was clear... just slow down and give way also cannot meh?? -

Imagine there is a merge in the lane before you can filter out to the expressway people can create another lane out of the merge? See this so many time at PIE exit to CTE (AMK) leow, sick and tired. wad i do is i take the centre not letting any car pass
There was once i was at Eunos Link going to turn to one small lorong to Kembangan, i was on the middle land and wanting to change lane to the left, i signalled for a very long time leow and waiting for a chance to cut in to the lane. When i finally got a chance to cut in, the Merc which was behind me cut to the other lane and ruin my chance of getting in to the lane, and the exit was very near. What i did was go fairly close to him as he was driving an Old S class so quite bulky, so i signalled and squeeze him to the side, i dun mind scretching his car man, frankly speaking i am prepared to bang him off the road leow so the driver got no choice but to slow down for me to cut in.
By that time the traffic build up leow, so i decide to irritate him, i on my hazard lights and pretend to answer the phone and check some document and cause him to stuck behind me for quite sometime
lucky there is no more car behind him .... hahaha when he want to filter out no one wants to give him way ... beri good!

Actually do you guys realise that those slow moving vehicles like vans and trucks normally speed up when you try to come out from a filter lane..

i encounter alot of dangerous overtaking in front of me..which i need to jam my brakes really hard..
got one time..best..i was in the centre lane..and this driver on my left lane came really closed going to cut into my lane going to bang on my car liao..and guess what..HE IS SMSING..for goodness sake!!!..wtf??!!
so drivers out there..please please..PAY ATTENTION ON THE ROAD AND NOT YOUR HP!!...
