Honda City 2004 VTEC with Bodykit

  Hi, everyone. New here. Need to ask some questions on Honda City. Just ordered one City vtec with bodykit. If I changed the rims to 17 inch will the warranty of the vehicle be void. The original is 15 inch. What is the exact size of the rims to change? Where can I find the center console box for city 2004. Anywhere in Singapore selling?
  
  If within the warranty period of the car, must bring it to the authorized service centre for servicing. If you use outside service centre, warranty will be void. It's so unfair,as Kah motor servicing is much more ex than outside ones.

  changing rims obviously does not void warranty. the size of rims is chosen by u. wad u mean by exact size? if u want 15 u get 15. if u want 17 u get 17.

  Thanks for the reply. Anyway, my present size rims with tyre is 185/55 R15. If I changed to 17 inch what is the tyre size is it 205/45 or 205/40 R17?

  hmmm 205/45/17 ??? the tires will be so small.. have to use at least a 215 for 17" or 225

  215/40 R17 is the better fit for City. Does anyone think it ok for my car to fit this?

  i was calculating it based on your current wheel size. if u're gonna get 215/40 R17, then your overall wheel diameter is going to increase by about 20mm. That would reduce your acceleration time and increase your FC.

  it might affect ur pick up power...
  the fuel consumption will probably goes up...
  for a stock car less than 2000cc,i think the most go for the 16inch one...
  if u insist on 17,check wif them wat size of tyre u need to maintain the current
  height..unless u wana increase or lower ur height...n also try not to use too
  broad a tyre for 1600cc car....

  Thanks for the advice. Maybe I just changed to 205/45 R16. Not so bad as it a plus one from my previous rims. Also thinking of putting solar films for my car. Any packages with discount now for the solar films. Thinking of Nanolux and coolnlite. Which is cheaper and better?

  Actually 17" is ok... get a very light one... Cool N lite is $500/+ for a sedan car.. From what is see from my friends car.. it is really good.. esp for the passenger side...

  I called up both nanolux and cool n lite to ask. Their package is about $399 to $430. Have anyone taken up these standard package. How is it?

  16 sounds about right.
