how to calculate car value?

  i think this thread has been here b4 but i cant seem to find it using the search.
  
  PARF Rebate, OMV Value, COE Rebate.
  
  how to get the selling value of my car? or scrap value?

  sorry i didnt make myself clear. but my main question was, how do i calculate the $$ returned to me if i were to scrap it.
  
  PARF Rebate Amount: $42,966.00
  Quota Premium (QP): $37,001.00
  COE Rebate Amount: $21,336.00
  Open Market Value (OMV) as at New Registration: $33,051.00
  
  i donno wat these figures mean too..

  i just figured out PARF Rebate amt was the amount i will get back.. ok thanks.

  u will get back portions of both PARF and COE values.
  ie. PARF Rebate and COE Rebate.
  
  PARF Rebate is based on how old the car is, up to 5 yrs old, will get back 75% of PARF value.
  
  COE Rebate is based on the unused COE period. So a 4 yrs old car, will get back 6 yrs COE value. ie. 60%.

  When you go to the website, you have to stated the scrap date.
  so the returned results already take in account what percentage of OMV the shown PARF is.
  
  ie, you don't have to recalculate percentage.
  To get a better picture, compare the diff PARF for scrap date being today and at the end of your COE, with respect to being a percentage of OMV.
