I want to buy a used car. any experience to share?

Hmm i don't know much but i've heard stories like some dealers actually tamper with the odometer in the car to make it show like the car has travelled less KMs than it actually has.
I think the most important thing is to go to a reputable dealer rather than one which LOOKS cheaper at first but has many strings attached or doesn't provide as good a service.
Just my 2 cents.

Tempering with odometer? Yes they do. My friend traded in his facelifted EK series EXi in 2001 for a new ES VTi. That time his EXi already did 97,000 clicks; reaching 3 years old. Next thing I know, the car was advertised in the now defunct juzclickcar.com with a mileage reading of 87,000 clicks!
