[b]Can I just check if ARF decreases, does it means car price decreases? (will there be any saving for our pockets?)
Yes, provided the dealers decide to lower the price.
e.g ARF for VIOS is 110% of OMV ($13k), currently VIOS selling price say 55k, if let say one fine day ARF for VIOS becomes 90% of OMV (drop of 20%) does tt means perhaps VIOS might be selling for some price lower than 55k? (Assuming COE price remains unchange)
A drop in ARF seems to benefit car buyers in general.
Can I ask if it will benefit OPC buyers?
OPC price should drop by the same amount as normal car, so again, if the dealers reduce the price, then buyers will benefit.
thanks..

Bro, never say never...Originally posted by wbucket:OPC actually cost the same as normal cars. Just that you have S$17k rebate and some road tax discount. So if normal car drop price, OPC will.
Secondly, your idea about ARF reducing is like asking the Gov to reduce GST. In a way, the ARF is actually TAX and TAX plus the OMV.
