Wa Sian Ar.. Rear Bumper Kiss Lamp post

  Careless and didn't check my mirrors when I reversed into a parking lot with the lamp post in the lot area instead of the usual behind the kerb.
  
  Now my rear bumper got a very slight dent and a small chipping of less than a 1 cent coin size. I went to Toyota bodycare and they quote me $375 to fix it... I almost fainted.
  
  Any brothers can verify if this price is reasonable or maybe any good reccomendations/alternatives I can look at?

  Awwww, poor lamppost. Ok, seriously speaking, there is a possibility that an internal beam hidden from view in the trunk, under the spare tyre compartment is slightly bent. The cost to repair such is going to be hell on your wallet. The price you were quoted for the bumper from toyota was I find rather reasonable.

  If u just wanna do the exterior, then u can go to Chipmaster. My personal experience with them is rather good.
  
  However, if u want assurance, u can go back to BM Bodycare.

  If you can live with it (the dent) then just ignore it lor.
  
  But if you really wanna go for repair, from what you described the damage, if you go to repair shops at Sin Ming, at max will cost you about $100. Usually will be a day's job, send in morning collect car in the evening.
  
  I just did mine yesterday, cost me 100 bucks, mine is about size of a 50c coin, paint came out also.

  i think you can get the dent repaired for much much less @ auto repair shops.. auth distributors are known to chop chop chopp..

  do your repair at Phua Spraying AMK Autopoint..look for Ronnie...he has done many toyota..swee swee...

  if u are looking for cheap repairs, never go back to the authorized agent. they monopolize end users by charging astronomical prices for everything when such things that could be easily had for much cheaper elsewhere.

  go to your own workshop to knock out the dent lor.. it aint expensive lah.. small dent maybe $70 bucks they knock it out... if you go to the dealer sure more expensive one....
