practical test

  can i check with you guys for privite learner, what is the minimum waiting time for the practical test u heard b4? is it possible to get the date within 4 month?
  
  which driving centre waiting time is shorter?
  
  and is UBI one more difficult as compared to the other?

  I'm not sure... the last time I took, I booked the test date right after getting the PDL... was about 6 months... just enough time to finish up my practicals...
  
  I guess which centre waiting time the shortest depends on how many ppl are waiting to take the test....
  
  As for the last question... I learnt driving from Ubi... and if you haven't learnt around that area, I suggest you don't take it there, cos the road conditions there are scary for a learner... esp during peak hour... cos of all the lorries and big trucks around there... plus the jam there is really going to irk your tester sometimes...
  
  I took my test in Ubi at a less crowded time... and managed to pass... guess I was lucky cos my route was away from the crowded streets...
  
  You can give it a try... but you really must be confident about the roads there...

  u wan fast? ssdc still haf 3rd jan 2005 slot! 3 days waiting time nia... but pte normally ard 4-6 mths waiting time... u go apply for TP first than slwoly find instructor lor. like tt makes ur waitin time seems shorter.
  
  BBDC n SSDC better in terms of traffic conditions. if u wan to challenge urself, ubi the best. jiayou

  the private test waiting time would be around 4-5 months, the last time i seen it, which is the day i took my prac test. The re-test date is around 3 months only.

  certaintly Ubi is the hardest of the 3 the reasons have been mentioned by other forumers above..............but of coz luck is impt no matter where you haf ur test if you dun haf luck u oso would fail =P

  Ya I agreed SSDC i think is more easier to pass.

  anyone know which time is better to take the practical test on a saturday?
  
  is 8.25am , 9.15am , 10.15 am , 11 am or 11.45 am a better time so that the road condition will not be that bad?

  i think 10 - 12 will be ok lar... i 1 time pass at SSDC, took mon 1145. road no cars, v smooth. but near sch got cars nia(weekdays).

  Glad to hear that u r taking TP SmaLLDoG. Timing is not the issue, ur skill applies when comes to this stage. Just a reminder, just don 'give up' coz u hav reach this "Final Stage" of obtaining Class 3 driving lic. Good Luck

  ya, there's a bus lane there, along PHS. for sat, usually half day, so i think ppl knock off ard 1pm. y dun u go survey the road condition there 1 day n see see? 1030 sld be a safe time...
  
  i feel tt luck is alittle impt than skills. if ppl wan sabotage u, no matter how good ur skills is, u cant escape. but if u r those whose car keep stallin, or no road safety, luck cant help u much also. haha... tokkin crap

  Personally, I would take the 10.15am or 11.00am. The first two timings are morning peak hours, traffic may be heavy.
  
  Although your own driving skills matter when it comes to passing the test, it is a fact that certain timings are better than others in terms of traffic conditions. Since timing is a variable you can control, make it work for you.
