Freebies/Discount for Toyota Altis

Hello everyone, i went down to BM yesterday and was impressed by the smooth ride of Altis after the test drive.
The standard accessories that comes with the Altis Basic is 14" Alloy Rim, reverse sensor, fog lamps, chrome door handle and single disc mp3 player.
The SE was relunctant to give any freebies or discount. Could anyone who have bought recently or gotten better deals share your experience. Any freebies or discount that you have gotten for your recent booking?
I actually wanted to get cash back for the fog light and upgrade to leather seat for free. Dunno possible anot?
Btw, is it advisable to upgrade to 15" rim. Will it help in anyway?

freebies etc in BM is quite difficult. You might want to try contacting Maddog in http://forum.toyotaclubsg.com/
Upgrading rims....try looking at 2 or 3 size up i.e. 16 or 17" from the stock 14". The toyota club has more people giving better advice on toyotas and where to get good deals for its parts. -

Guess u got to ask for it... If u did not ask, then i understands that the S$ 200 enters "their" pocket...

that's their commission for smaller cars. If you take Camry etc, you can look forward to up to 800 but depending on your neg skill.

I just brought the Altis Deluxe at 63, 376 last sunday and i got 300 cash off from the agent... i can recommend her to you if you want.....
Btw, i was outbid for yesterday COE.....

just to ask sth... noticed quite a few Altis with half bodykit. dunno what you call that sideskirts or what? only sides have, front & back don't have. originally from BM? i think it looks damn odd. but seriously, i think a full set really transforms the whole outlook of the car, nice fierce sporty look

previously they only offered side skirts to the buyers as an option..... now they offer the whole kit lor, think it was during the motorshow. Yah mostly original from BM, if u see those 14" + bodykit... confirm is from BM cos i think most of those mod enthusiasts would know that must at lest 16" + bodykit to look decent, and agree it's got quite a fierce look
