Traffic Lights

  I was flipping through TP's handbook for Basic Theory...wah kao, the pictures of traffic lights in there are unrealistic. The green lights really look green, the red really looks red...whereas the real ones look more white and orange respectively!
  
  I am colour-deficient or "colourblind" but the world does not appear like a B&W movie. Is it true though that the testers will give you those lame circles with numbers traced out with dots in them?

  sori to burst yr bubble but real traffic lights do really luk red n green... speacially so with the new LED ones....
  
  n yes u have to sit thru a color chart test b4 they even allow u to do anythg.

  basically traffic lights. brake lights. reverse lights. signal lights. warng lights of road works or accidents. n the ever fearful flashing blue lights.

  Like I mentioned earlier, the real green light appears greenish off-white while the red one appears reddish orange, the amber one yellowish orange. I am not certain about the specific colours I mix up - show me the Ferrari livery or the Jaguar livery and they look positively scarlet and green respectively but I have difficulty with other shades of those 2 and some browns.

  well doesnt seem too bad
  
  but my fren failed the color chart thing.

  I was stumped by it in primary school and at the pre-NS check-up!

  mayb u try getg yr hands on 1. get a ren with no color deficiency to read it n u memorises the diff sou can giv the rite answers.

  I thought those colour blind people must take a special colour test??? but at least must be able to distinguish green, red and yellow right...
