My opinion is that it's misguided to think that a so called "harder" body will give more protection. Unless one is driving a tank, no matter how hard a car's body is, if u press hard enough on it, the sheet of metal will bend, maybe the softer ones may bend permanently though. So in a heavy collision, I can't imagine how a mallable piece of metal will protect; and in a light collision, even a hard body will be dented and will still need repairs. It's only psychological protection that the "hardness" feel offers. But a harder body does protect indirectly at high speeds exceeding 100km/h, as the vehicle tend to be heavier and hence more sturdy. So if u not driving in M'sia, Vios isn't a bad choice.
