To start you off, anyone noticed that all new concept cars all have that standard Shelby GT-500 look? -
There was this documentary on it on the discovery channel just recently, and their principal reason was to retain its nostalagia.

Quite true, but there's also quite alot of talk about the curvier frontal being designed so that lesser harm may come to the pedestrians when the car hits them...true?

Cars were not designed to hit pedestrians!

I strongly agree to that!
But unfortunately, i juz went back to recap an episode of Fifth Gear(Dec 6th 04 episode) and it said that from 2005 onwards... a law is applied that cars are required to be designed to have a less disastrous result to the wandering pedestrians or the little kid that runs out to pick his ball. (Oh, it's been designed like that since the year 2000 from what i learnt from the show..and the honda civic was one of the showcased cars)
Sigh... that means we are gonna see more curvier fronts from cars.

I also say something else. I fail to see how that curvier front will protect the kid from being sucked into that gaping maw of an air intake, esp if the shelby is being driven at something like 200km/h. that maw was MEANT to eat children for breakfast!Originally posted by PSpider: I strongly agree to that!

That was what i was thinking too when i tried to mix the 2 together!!!
Supercars vs Curvier Fronts = Hmm....that's designed for a hit in less than 90km/h...how about 200km/h??
Bet u fill up those supercars with children!!! Wake up, drive to work....eat 1 kid on the way!
