You can only comment on the performance after test driving yourself. At the moment, we are not even sure which model of engine they will be bringing in and what price they will be selling.Originally posted by ditzy:Look better only har? Then audi loh.![]()

Yeah, I have seen this in the top gear magazine. its the new rover and the design looks abit like a cross bred between bentley and audi. personally, I hate rover cars, used to own the 216 covertible and I think it is a piece of junk!Originally posted by HENG@:unfortunately, has anyone seen the new rover?
*shudder*

no offense to rover cars owner out there.

Volvos. yummy. Saabs r looking good as well.Originally posted by Gedanken:Geez - all three are ugly as sin.
Looks like a lot of the new designs are following Peugeot, with the monstrous grilles. The really frightening thing is that they're all starting to make Volvos look good.
Hey guys, I think there are more to a car than just the cover. In term of engine and gearbox technology, BMW and Audi are a class above Saab, Volvo, Peugeut and Rovers. BMW involvement in F1 and Audi involvement in Le Mans have proof that they are the leader in car technology and if I have to choose a car, i will seriously take that into consideration.Originally posted by HENG@:Volvos. yummy. I think the new audi grill look much better than the peugeot. Actually the new peugeot grill reminds me ofOriginally posted by Gedanken:Geez - all three are ugly as sin.

Fair enough, Gaz, but your initial question was about how they look.Originally posted by Gazelle:Hey guys, I think there are more to a car than just the cover. Furthermore, I believe both BMW and Audi will fetch a better resale value then any of the above non german cars. In term of value for money in this class, my money is in the Audi.
Actually i would disagree with your above statement.Originally posted by Gedanken:Audi have a tendency to jump the gun and release technology before it's been satisfactorily worked out - remember the mess with their aluminium chassis? I had a number of friends who dumped their A4s at that time.
Merc is good, but they are over priced and they include too many expensive electronic gadget that you dont need and have too many glitches.Originally posted by Gedanken:BMW's engineering is pretty good, although, like Merc, their participation in F1 doesn't mean much - if you went by that measure, you'd be considering a Honda before you considered a Bimmer.
Are you refering to the XC90? yeah I like this car too..Originally posted by elindra:Actually the Volvos look pretty good now especially their SUVs
