No. The City shift gear in the same manner as with any other auto-trans cars through the selection of your auto gear handle. The steering 7 speed is just a replica of a Sports mode built-in. It just allows you to manually up or down your gear selection in an Auto-geared car. A bit like using OD/Tiptronic... Best for overtaking. However like what most auto magazines will claim its just a novelty and mini-fantasy which effects will only last as long as that of Ecstasy. Once you sian liao you will stick back to using its CVT selection instead... Frankly speaking... hardly any connection between the City and F1 cars...
