Car Insurance (Off-peak Car)

  Any idea is the car insurance of a OPC cheaper ??
  The normal premium for me will be ard $2200 bucks (for normal cars) !! ... im 24, first veh.
  
  Thinking of getting a OPC ... anybody can help ???

  If i am not wrong, it is only cheaper by abit.

  5 % ahhhh ... better than nothing lorr.... hee...
  
  but seriously, yearly insurance of 2k+ is just too much.... for first party though..... imagine one has to save ard $200 per mth to pay for the insurance.... !!

  Dun worry, first year and first time buying car insurance will be at the high side. After a year and it there is not accidents being claimed, u will pay the 2nd year insurance at a rebated price.
  
  I am not too sure how much is rebated. Probably about half or one third been rebated. Mine still have not reach the 1st year yet, so can't share much info

  10% discount every year if no claims against u, subject to a maximum of 50%.

  ohh... no wonder i went to pay insurance few days back they give me 10% discount.
  
  so that means next yr i will be given another 10% discount to the price i paid this yr? then on the 5th yr i will only be paying 1/2 the price of my original insurance???

  yeah..... i tink there is not much of a choice rite?? if wanna get a first party insurance.... beta be safe than sorry........

  saggice.. if u buying a new car..there should be some in house insurance ting..it will be cheaper.. or ask yr agents how many companies r there for e in house thing
