Mit Lancer's engine

  hi guys,
  
  is there any way to improve the engine responsiveness for mit lancer cvt auto?
  
  seems like the engine is abit sluggish compared to toyota corolla 1.6 auto.
  
  any guys care to share what are the ways to improve that?

  Dear Friend, if u want better pick up there are a few basic option for u.
  1. buy a performance air filter which has higher flow rate thus engine breath better.
  2. change a set of good spark plug and plug cable. better accerlation can be acheived.
  3. install a fuel regulator, it helps enginr to acheive better performance.
  4.install an extractor and a set of better exhaust system.

  CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) is for gradual and smooth pickup......this is for comfort ride......
  
  if you want responsive pickup, then u should not opt for CVT in the first place...u should go for Manual......
  
  BUT this lancer is good for weaving in and out of traffic during high speed chase........heeheeee....

  City better if u juz want pickup..... it can reach 100km/h in 9secs if driven with experience...... but i feel that the city suspension a little too soft or too hard.... when go fast very bumpy.......
