Parallel Parking to the left

anybody got tips on parallel parking towards the left?
i always manage to get into the lot properly.. but slow and out 10 attempts.. 6 will always have to strike curb.. how sia.. i cant really feel..
was only taught to park towards the right in circuits.. lol..
any tips?

That's strange. The driving school taught me how to parrallel park on the left instead of the right when I was a learner driver over 10 years ago.
Parallel parking on the left is almost an 'exact science'; follow the procedure below which I was taught by the school and you'll get into a normal sized lot first time every time.
The procedure is roughly as follows:
Reverse parallel to the line of parked cars until the edge of the front car reaches the back of your car's rear window, turn your steering wheel full until the inner corner of the parking lot is aligned to your outer wing mirror. Reverse until your inner wing mirror clears the edge of the front car whereby you turn your steering wheel back and you're in the lot.
I realise the above instructions are too cryptic to be of use to the uninitiated; it merely shows you how mechanical the process can be for those who have less than perfect judgement or spatial abilities. It's best you get someone to demonstrate it to you.
