Do u keep a torch-light inside your vehicle?
Under hot & humid Singapore weather especially high-temp parked under the sun, will the battery chemical inside the torch start to leak?

i keep a spot light inside my car.
just in case my high beam isnt enough, i will on the spot light to blind other people. -

If you say flash them to warn them of impending danger or to let you pass still ok, but to blind them!..WTF?!

I am not thinking of a bigger SPOT-LIGHT giantic type, those are probably rechargeable type selling in carr*four (?!, those r junk to me) & after 2-3 charges they might not be working anymore. Probably some handy torch to use in some "search-&-find/found" tasks when something dropped to the floor. But to keep a torch inside I am wondering whether the batteries will degrade under high-temp & leak (& that's it, your torch is gone!)... I hear-say the camera-battery type of torches won't have leakage problem anyone use those b4?
How about longer torch (1 ft long?) as a defensive tool?

I known of such a torch that does not need batteries. All you need is to shake the torch for a 30 sec and you get light for about 2 - 5 mins. Recharge by shaking again. Might be useful as no batteries is involved. Use to have one but spoilt due to my carelessness (dropped)

About $10, bought from some those 1.99 lifestyle shop just for the fun of it, used for quite a while before I dropped it .... There are more expensive one which I think should be better in quality...If you keep properly, not likely you drop in the car, right?
