Does operation on a car exhaustbe fine ??

  Does operation on a car exhast to make it louder be fine by TP ??
  
  Example usin a galant can operate on the exhaust to make it sound louder and better ..........

  It depends,but its not legel.... hp gain is better than those lazy S flow muffler.

  Straight thru or taking out of the cat. converter is not allowed in spore.
  There are some mufflers that are approved by LTA. A gd example will be supersprint exhaust.

  so i assume that if i thru the exhaust then it will be illegal ??
  
  if i put muffer will the sound be nice also ???

  its illegal to mod exhaust...
  fine is 500 bucks....
  but if remove cat another 500 bucks....

  An operated muffler that sounds loud usually classified as 'defective muffler', fine $30 only, not $500

  Yup... we're in $ingapore. A cheap muffler that operates under the same guidelines as an expensive Supersprint or Remus will get you in trouble. You are only allowed to enjoy yourself in $ingapore if you are rich and can afford expensive things. Plain and simple...

  i not rich, my remus is second hand one, somemore the previous owner never polish n maintain, hai me have to buy brasso n everyweek try to polish the pipe to shine...

  yup, go to kingcrimison at waterloo street, there got catalog, i saw before a galant on remus, but i tink only have the single pipe one. for lancer second hand around 300-400, brand new 800-900
