in the E Class i hit 200km/h. I could probably have gone higher(was still accelerating when i slowed down) and the E class is much heavier than the SLK. only issue is the limiter, which usually limits cars to 250km/h / 155mph and that can be 'removed' -

195km/h on the way to Malaysia. The car was not yet fully run-in and as such engine speed was kept at a 4000 rpm maximum. Here is a picture of it accelerating through 170, just prior to upshifting through steptronic.

its not fast as most records here. but i swear you'll break out in cold sweat when you are inside the car.
