Yup... any info would be appreciated. I've been reading on the web about many cases of overups of defects. Seems very much a concern... hmm.Originally posted by bismarck:i only got info based on first gen colt...maybe relevant.

Ah, you're a colt owner? What year colt is it? Have you ever had to fix/repair things other than through normal regular servicing?Originally posted by bismarck:well...it's acc frm standstill is, ok. i mean, there's no complains abt it. rather, i dont hear anything frm the drivers
but trying to accelerate to change lanes, well it's slow in increase of speed.
what happens is that, when i want to accelerate to overtake, i step harder on the accelerator right ? naturally engine rpm goes up but the speed doesnt increase by alot. in fact, minimal. it's only when u step that hard and hold on for a while before u can feel an increase in speed( otherwise it';s minimal)
the handling wise, ok.
only 1 out of the 3 drivers who drove my family;s colt complained it was hard to park...ONLY 1![]()

Could be due to the CVT . Its got the "slipping clutch" feeling. there's nothing u can do abt it. cept throw the transmission out the window..Originally posted by bismarck:well...it's acc frm standstill is, ok. i mean, there's no complains abt it. rather, i dont hear anything frm the drivers
