but chances are that is going to cost a bomb, even if it is minor!Originally posted by HENG@:try asking the authorised dealer for your car for the touch up paint. that is your best bet.
bomb? i didn't know u consider about $10 - $20 a bomb? we got the bottle of touch up paint for our Merc E-Class from C&C, I think it didn't even cost over $10.Originally posted by wuming78:but chances are that is going to cost a bomb, even if it is minor!![]()
oh paiseh.. i see your post wrongly. u said ask the authorised dealer for the paint! i thought u said send the car to the authorised dealer and ask them to paint for me.Originally posted by HENG@:bomb? i didn't know u consider about $10 - $20 a bomb? we got the bottle of touch up paint for our Merc E-Class from C&C, I think it didn't even cost over $10.![]()
hmm... yeah. honda is Kah Motors right? Ask their service personnel if hey have something like that or not. We actually wanted to send the car in to be touched up by C&C but the friendly service guy told us it was very easy to do so, because i think the bottle came with a brush attached to the cap, and that instead of paying them more to touch up for us, we can just buy the whole bottle for less and do as many touch ups as we need to.Originally posted by wuming78:oh paiseh.. i see your post wrongly. u said ask the authorised dealer for the paint! i thought u said send the car to the authorised dealer and ask them to paint for me.
it's that kind of price? hm.. that sounds great!
so i just visit the honda workshop and ask them for touch up paint? den apply the paint myself just like doing art? anything to watch out for? wash first? must polish after that?
how to know if the scratch can be done away by polishing, and how to mend a scratch?Originally posted by Praetorian111:depends on how deep the scratches are.... if it is slightly polishing will get it away. if they are deep scratches you will have to mend the scratch first before you paint over them......
