Should I buy an Altis NOW or after Government's announcement

Dear Fellow Singaporeans,
I am a complete idiot to cars so I would like to know about the opinions of u guys and gals. I heard from someone that the government will be announcing the number of COEs to be released for the next year in about a week's time. And also, they might be lowering the tax.
Within these few days, I have to make a decision. Should I buy a new Altis NOW or should I wait for the announcement? Will new cars get CHEAPER? Is it true(about the announcement) anyway?
Anyway, I have made up my mind to get an Altis!!! It's just a matter of time and PRICE!
