Will insurance be expensive for P plate driver?

  Wow, then thread-starter's could be around there or higher. Better to get it under your father's name and wait out the period of P-s.

  ya for 1 yr..
  did my shopping ard and finally settled on aig..sorry..not axa.. though premium is high.. but claims r easier and i can go back to tan chong to repair la.. *touch wood*
  they have this new for old clause which allows me to change for a new car should the present be beyond repair for the 1st yr..
  heard that ntuc income very niao and hard to claim.,

  U own a nissan eh? anyway if no insurance but the car itself is insured by another party...say yr dad....R u allowed 2 drive the veh?

  i am considered a new driver........gt my license late 2002 and i am 23.......i recently bought a getz and my ntuc insurance(which is cheapest in town) cost me $1937 per annum.....simply shows it might bomb u a bigger amount.....maybe >$2k...

  Depends on the insurance plan, if "comprehesive", that it covers all drivers that drove the car. Other plans not very sure.

  1K is expensive? I got license for 4 years, and now it is 1.2k.
